Members DO NOT MISS the next Social
The next Social will be held at The Faust on February 15th. The gathering will start at 6 pm and go until around 8 pm. There will be live music and happy hour pricing on drinks until 7 pm. This will be an important time as we hope to discuss the upcoming year and how best for CCC to move forward. We are asking that every member be present for this gathering. Get there early so that we talk over the future and then enjoy the music.

Monthly Luncheon at Adobe Verde
The January luncheon was held on January 25th at Oregano’s Pizza. The event was hosted by EPESENT. The group was excited to watch the slideshow of the Christmas party that was given for the Hill Country Students with Visual Impairments. Thank you Mitzi for having this presentation done. We hope to see this slideshow on the website soon.
Greg talked to the group about the need of a new treasurer. Once again we are thankful to Mitzi who has volunteered to take over that position. Steve Smith also volunteered to help to organize the books due to the transition of treasurers.
There was much discussion about this coming year and the way forward for CCC. The group decided to work to have all t he members present for a planning meeting at the February social. The social will be sponsored by Gunderson Financial and will be held at The Faust Hotel. There will be music and happy hour prices for drinks. Everyone should attend.
This month we also heard from Mitzi Kendall-Hill of Hill Publications, Melissa Howard of Mary Kay, and Steve Smith of EPESENT. Let’s all support these fine businesses in our community. At the end of the meeting door prizes were given to Barbara Rose, Steve Smith, and Mitzi Kendall-Hill. The next luncheon will be held on Wednesday, February 29th at Sertino’s Cafe. Everyone bring in a new business for us to network with.
